A friend's thoughtfulness.

My husband is so much fun to spend time with but it doesn't compare to girl time. I love me some good girl friend time. Last night my good friend Krissy came over for dinner. Krissy's fiance was at work so we missed Kevin. Although Travis was home and had dinner & watched the movie with us, it was so nice to hug a friend and savor a glass of wine. FYI- Travis didn't partake in the painting of toe nails.

When Krissy walked in she handed me some flowers in a cute vase. I don't think that I have ever had a friend bring flowers to our place. Seriously, a friend's thoughtfulness can go a long way. It doesn't hurt that they are bright and remind me that warm weather is rapidly approaching. I loved waking up and making breakfast (more like brunch because I got to sleep in!) and seeing these flowers, knowing I was going to enjoy my breakfast a little more this morning.

I had to take some photos of these flowers just so you can see how beautiful they are...

Too much cheese and sour cream on my egg burrito? Impossible.
