Chico, California Newborn Photographer:: Baby Lars

This family is so special to us. We have loved capturing their life over the past few years. Kevin and Annalisa are fabulous parents and little Polly is a great big sister to Lars. Lars did a great job during his time in front of the camera--enjoy some photos of our time with him.

We feel so blessed to get to work with these people!
We loved spending time with you all, as always. We are blessed by you!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

We hope that, no matter where you are in your life, that you feel loved. Because you are. We also hope that it doesn't take a silly Holiday for you to feel it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't use this Holiday to the fullest--chocolate, sweet cards, a few extra kisses. Please do.:)

And because not everyone has flowers, candy, and full hearts on Valentines Day, here is a little something to possibly make your day a little brighter.
 His cute feetsies make a heart. You gotta really want to see it...
 This adorable outfit that Great Grandma Victoria got him has a hood! He knows how to rock it...
 And had I known that he was going to make this expression, I would have made the chalkboard sign say "Sup Boo...will you be my Valentine?"
Happy Valentines Day, friends. Enjoy your day!

Birth Photography::Will you join us?

I couldn't have imagined how much I would cherish the photos of our son's birth. The moments leading up to his arrival,the delivery, the incredible tears of joy after meeting him for the first time--they are precious to me. The details of it all are captured forever.

I am beyond thankful for the photos that we have of Broderick's first moments in our arms. Travis and I talked a lot about how we wanted the day of Brody's arrival to go, and having a photographer there to capture it was important to us. Looking back at how special these pictures are to us made me realize the I want everyone to have their memories captured as well. Not only in their minds, but through photography--because I can tell you from experience that the details can quickly fade (especially with everything that comes with having a newborn).
Will you remember the look on your husband's face when he first laid eyes on your baby? What about the look on your face as your baby's sweet little body is placed on your chest for the first time? As I look through the photos of our son's birth, I am so thankful I can see his eyes meet mine for the first time. These precious moments are what I want to freeze--I want to freeze them with the click of my shutter-- So that these once in a lifetime moments will be yours forever.
Will you join us? We want to be a part of your story. Birth Photography is so beautiful--so full of intense, raw emotion. So please, share this with your friends and family who may be interested in having their story captured.
These photos are such a blessing to us and we want to be a blessing to you!

Our photos were taken by Travis and a good friend of ours Eddie Wilson. Thank you again, Eddie, for capturing the most precious moment of our lives. Travis is so grateful that he was able to focus solely on his family during those moments and let you take care of everything else.

Please contact us through our website if you have any questions. We would love to hear from you!

Five on Friday

Yay for Friday! I genuinely hope you all have had a great week!!

One.
My mom was visiting this past weekend and I hate it when she leaves. She is so fun to have around--I can't describe the joy of seeing her with Brody. He knows his nana and was giggling lots for her! I also enjoy her visits because she let Travis and I go on a few dates! We played tennis and also went to a local comedy show. It was really fun!

Two.
I had some friends over Monday with their babes. We ate some heart shaped rice krispy treats and went for a walk in the sun. The four babies are just months apart and are destined to be good friends:)

Three.
I stayed inside all day Wednesday--I hate it when that happens. It was a beuaitful day but I was busy cleaning the house and editing. At the end of the day I feel good because I was productive but I definitely need to get out more!

Four.
Speaking of editing--I am seriously loving working again. It feels good! Stay tuned for little Owen's blog post on Monday. He is a cutie.

Five.
I went to my favorite local coffee shop for the first time in a while. I had a free drink so I think I enjoyed the drink that much more! It was relaxing and a little different with having Mr. Brody tag along. He slept for the first 30 minutes so I just sat there. It was great:)

Have a great weekend, friends! AlbiniPhotography has a fun announcement coming soon so stay tuned!!

Broderick:: Joy

It is pretty amazing how, as parents, you find so much joy in every milestone your baby hits! When they first smile, when they grab their toy for the first time, when they lift their little big head up at tummy time, etc.
These milestones are so small in the big scheme of how our children bring us joy. I cant imagine the joy in a mom's heart knowing that her child is following the Lord. We pray every night that our son would not only know his God, but know Him at a young age. My heart might just explode with joy.

Our Home::Gallery Wall

Travis and I moved into our first home in November 2011. Wow, we are just now putting things on the walls in the living room! There are a few reasons for this--it feels a lot more permanent when decorating a home so we wanted it to be perfect and we spent so much energy & money on the rest of the house that we were spent(ha)!

We decided to go with a Gallery Wall in the living room because we just love the look of large frames and of course we want to showcase our story. We went with all Black and White photos with a few coordinating Graphic prints. We I am kind of obsessed with the letter 'A' so we also included some of those:). We are both so happy with how it turned out!
 The Gallery Wall includes an Engagement Photo, Wedding Photos, Maternity Photos, and a few photos of Brody from his birthday! (Still waiting on one Graphic print.)
 The frames are all from Costco, the letters are from Kohls, Anthropologie, and TJMaxx (I think--I have had them for years), and the graphic art is from Etsy and a friend of ours. The table is actually a desk from Target. The chairs are from World Market that we got for each other as a housewarming gift when we moved in.

My sister gave me the plant. Oh! And if you ever think to yourself "Hmm...I really want to surprise Danielle and get her her favorite candle!" Well, it is right there on the desk and it is Gardenia Lily soy candle from Target:)! Just kidding...kind of.

 What do you think of the new decor? Gallery Walls are so easy and can be a great, bold statement in your home! I've done them before with just a bunch of thrifted frames that I spray painted to coordinate. Do you have one in your home? You should do one:)

Have a great week, friends! Thanks for following this little space of ours.

Chico California Photographer:: Sneak Peek

I got to spend some time with sweet baby Owen a few days ago. He is 1 month old and showed me some of his great expressions--we even got a few smirks:)! Enjoy this little peek at his session. More to come soon!
