Fall

Long time no write. It's been straight up crazy in the Albini household. But, at least there are cute pumpkins on our Fireplace mantel. And leftover Halloween candy on the counter. :)

For more reasons than I can think of, Fall is my favorite season. I grew up in San Diego and really had no idea what Fall was supposed to be like. Now, I definitely wasn't complaining about the 80 degree weather in November but I would trade those high temps for these bright red and deep orange leaves any day.
A new season always gets me in a mindset to organize and simplify. That is a little overwhelming this season as we have been busy and sick. Our little guy has had a nasty cold for a while now and it was just a matter of time before Travis and I were bedridden groggy-eyed chasing a baby around. But, we are on the mend and ready to conquer Brody's 1st Birthday!

And that is another reason why Fall is my favorite season. We welcomed our first baby last Fall! Thanksgiving will never be the same. We came home from the hospital last November with a newborn baby boy. My mom had made a huge Thanksgiving feast for us and I cried as I walked in the door. Really…I did. Those hormones are no joke. And now I'm thinking that Thanksgiving dinner should be a tradition when we come home with a new baby. Thanksgiving Turkey in Spring or Summer…yes please! (No, we aren't pregnant.)

I also wanted to apologize to those of you who we had to tell that we didn't have any availabilities for your Photography needs. I love working with people and hate having to say no. When I say 'book early', I mean it. So, I will be contacting you next Summer for your Fall Portraits:)

I am also so grateful to get to photograph so many of you this season. Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives. You are the best!

Well, that was my random post! Have a great rest of your week and if you are in need of some Milky Ways or 3 Musketeers--I'm your girl. But if you want any ButterFingers or Snickers, I'm all out :)
