Walking through the hospital parking lot, into the elevator and through the hospital room doors always brings me sweet feelings of anticipation. I am so grateful to be invited into this special hospital room. Each birth is so unique and special. Jodie and Ryan's story is uniquely theirs and it is beautiful. 

Jodie's Doula, Kim, of Chico Doula Circle, was a fantastic help during Jodie's labor.

 I adore the time when daddy gets to hold his daughter for the first time. Nothing quite as sweet!

This family was so fun to work with! Truly, the first photo taken was one of my favorites--the kids were like pros with how well they smiled. Everyone did pretty great--even when we were all getting eaten by mosquitoes towards the end of our session.

Heather did such a great job coordinating their outfits--I love how they turned out!!
