Wow, every time that I am welcomed into a delivery room I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Each family has their own story to tell and I'm so grateful to get to be there to share in that. What a gift.
I walked into room 4458 to find mom resting and dad coloring with his two oldest daughters, who were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby sister. Isabella and Gabriella were lucky enough to get to witness their sister's birthday. Their dad told them they'd remember this day for the rest of their lives…this is so true.
It was a beautiful day--enjoy these photos as they tell the story of a family of 6 becoming a family of 7!
Daddy is also known as Doctor and was able to do Gina's epidural and deliver their baby girl.
Everyone got some rest and big sisters Gabriella and Isabella did a great as they kept looking at the clock waiting for it to be time to meet their sister.
The look on Gina's face brings tears to my eyes--Relief and complete joy.
This next sequence of photos show older sister Gabriella cutting the cord. I love them...
Listening to Catalina's strong heartbeat.
I adore this next photo showing all the people checking out little Catalina. She is precious!
Everyone left to let Mommy and Catalina have some time. I walked back in to this beautiful scene...
Catalina weighed 7lbs 10oz and has the most scrumptious little rolls on her legs.
Welcome to the world Catalina!! Thank you Bax Family for allowing me into your lives. You're beautiful!
