I'm not quite sure how to start this post. Thoughts that come to mind include "Wow, life is amazing" and "Women can do anything" and "I am so blessed to photograph new life" etc. You catch my drift? These moments captured through my lens are breathtaking.
I got a text from Brittany at 2am that labor had started. Who could possibly go back to sleep after that exciting news?? :) Zachary was born 12 hours later and with the most handsome dimples you've ever seen!
Brittany and Chris worked together so well throughout labor. I was thoroughly impressed with how he cared for her and how she communicated with him. Brittany's mom, sister and friend were there to cheer her on, fan her face and remind her of her strength.
I will let the photos tell this beautiful story, as I really don't have the words.
Brittany was in transition and handling it so well.
Welcome to the world, Zachary!
Brittany, you are beautiful. As I've said so much to you, I am so impressed.
While nursing her baby for the first time, Brittany said "This is seriously the best". All of us had tears in our eyes...
Chris held Zachary for the first time, weighed him and put on his first diaper.
Zachary weighed in at 7lbs. 15 ounces.
Chris, you are already such an attentive and caring dad.
Brittany's Mom did a good job waiting to get to hold her grandson. You can tell she is in heaven.
Family waited anxiously in the waiting room to get the 'okay' to come in and meet this handsome baby boy.
Family of three!
Congratulations, Chris and Brittany! You have a gorgeous family. I'm so thankful you allowed me into your lives. Thank you.
