Things I am loving...

With this new season after what seemed like a long winter, I am noticing things that I am appreciating much more. Like the sun! Here are some photos of things I am appreciating...
Allergies in Chico remedied by a simple little pill.
Sun light coming in our living room window--it is very much appreciated.
A sign of business and crafting...
Bathing suits lying around our apartment--getting the chance to lay in the sun with my hubby. Even if it is only for 40 minutes before class!
 An empty coat rack=no jackets.
 Flowers in our garden
Graduation Announcements and Parties from loved ones. I appreciate this and that it means much more than a party. It is more proof that Chico is our home. We have people who think of us, who love us, and know how much we love them.
Friends of mine who have asked about the Pasta salad that I bring to just about every event, this is the box.:) My friend first introduced me to this a few years ago. We both add blocks of cheddar cheese and some sliced grape tomatoes. The box is around $2 and I make a lot of it. I am addicted...
Homemade guacamole--I appreciate this no matter what season we are in.
I appreciate and love a lot more things than the above. This is just what I could think to photograph:)

Enjoy your weekend and this great weather we have been having!!(If you live in the West coast area.)

What do you appreciate around your home this season?

In Love--Tim & Bekah

We are so excited to work with Tim and Bekah! Their wedding is in June and it will be here in no time. I love that they had a location in mind for photos and that it was special to them. This is where they had their very first date--hanging their feet over the water and getting to know each other. The unicycle, German flag, & army men are a part of who they are. Now they are planning a wedding, Bekah is finishing grad school, they are packing their things and heading to Germany after the big day!
Thanks for letting us be a part of your story--can't wait to show you the rest of the photos!

Feather Falls

Those of you who know me best, know that I am not one to partake in activities that require high endurance. I like leisurely walks and bike rides. The only sport that I played in high school was softball and honestly, it is probably one of the laziest sports you can play. Now, I'm not saying that I am totally out of shape but last Saturday I was put to the test with a 9 mile hike. It was 4.5 miles in and 4.5 miles out. We left Chico at 5:30am and the weather could not have been better. We went with some friends from our Bible Study and some new friends who brought along their two toddlers--the two most well behaved toddlers I have ever seen(on a 9 mile hike)!
Here are some photos from our hike. I was slightly obsessed with the little newts that were on the trail. So cute! There were also some banana slugs but they kinda looked like dog poop...
All of our jackets were off on the way back. You should've seen my bright red cheeks!
 What a brave guy...
The beautiful waterfall peaking through the trees before we got to the bottom platform...
Only a real man can wear his wife's floral print backpack!
 Looking Left from the Lookout...
Looking Right from the Lookout...
I zoomed in so you could see Travis and Stu on the fence...
More proof of a real man...
The blisters on my feet have gone away and the soreness has subsided. We had so much fun and would recommend the hike to anyone in the area! Needless to say, I am pretty sure I passed the test!

Realized after I did this entire post that I forgot to Watermark the photos--please don't steal the photos of my newts or the waterfall:)

Graduate--Karen

I was trying to think about when Karen and I met and I can't believe it was over 4 years ago. We met through friends but have also ended up working together at the good old Library. I have loved getting to know Karen and am so excited for her to graduate from Chico and continue on to Grad School in Indiana! We will miss you but know that two years will fly by & Joe will be well taken care of!:)
Those blue eyes are to die for! We love you Karen and thank you for always being so encouraging and supporting us!
